Patavina Technologies offers communication solutions for wireless and wired constrained networks. The know-how of patavina spans from protocol stack design, to the software management system to control it.
Each device implementing Patavina Technologies protocol stack suite can be integrated in Patavina Management Software Suite for accessing network devices information and controlling their behavior remotely.
WSN nodes can operate as users actuators and record information on behalf of these. Users, on the other hand, can remotely access device context and resources transparently. Each device exposes a web-server like interface accessible from the outside world through a simple web browser. Information is exported in standard XML schemes carrying the context and the decoding scheme required to interpret it.
With Patavina's offered stack solution, device information becomes easily accessable from fixed locations as well as portable devices (laptops, PDAs, ...), with a high degree of interoperability and seamlessness.

Patavina Technologies software relies on the latest advancement on standards definition, from the most relevant standardization bodies such as IEEE, IETF and W3C.

In particular, our solutions adopt 6LoWPAN for IP internetworking, RPL for routing and CoAP for the application layer.

By implenting this protocol stack, constrained wireless sensors networks can be seamlessly integrated within standard IPv4/IPv6 networks; all devices can be addressed globally and interacted with using web service functionalities.
